It was like looking out into the horizon - the needle-like raindrops exited the sky and fell on the ground with ferocity. The pools on the street aided in further magnifying the chaos. Heaven, Earth, and Hell all appeared to have blended in together on this rather chilly afternoon. People, too, blended together - all going about their day with quiet resignation as the pouring carried on.
About The Artist
Monsuru Ademola Tukuru is a Nigerian artist born in 1966 in Lagos, Nigeria. He is known for his mixed media paintings. Tukuru fully immersed himself in the world of art during his secondary school and university years. During his final year at Yabatech, Lagos, he learned the nuances of etching from renowned printmaker and painter Bruce Onobrakpeya. Today, Tukuru is known for his exceptional etching paintings.
The artist lives in Lagos with his wife and three children. Tukuru’s art has managed to cross boundaries and oceans and found its way into homes, hotels, exhibitions, and galleries in North America, Europe, Asia, as well as many parts of Africa itself.
Shipping and Returns Policy
AFM ships the artwork directly from our gallery in the U.S. through UPS. Once purchased, your unique piece is stretched (no frame option) or fully framed prior to shipment. Orders are shipped between 2 to 5 business days to accommodate the stretching / framing process. A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your order is shipped.
The return period for all orders is 14 days and begins the day the order is delivered. We will refund the full amount back to you once the artwork is returned in its original condition.
